Natural Cough Syrup

Natural Cough Syrup This natural cough syrup is very soothing for coughs and colds.

Made with 5 powerful ingredients:
  • 1 large Onion chopped (any color)
  • 6-8 chopped radishes
  • 1 medium size ginger root shredded.
  • 6-8 chopped garlic cloves.
  • Local honey
  • 1 medium size mason jar with lid

Instructions: Mix chopped onions, radishes, ginger and garlic into a bowl. Place 1/4 cup of the chopped mixture in the bottom of 1 mason jar. Drizzle 1/4 cup of honey over. Repeat in layers until you have used up all your ingredients. End with a layer of honey on top. Secure lid, turn upside down until all mixture has been covered by the honey and then back to right side up. Let sit for 24 hours at room temperature. After 24 hours, use a small mesh strainer and gently pour to separate the onion, garlic, ginger and radishes’ mixture from the syrup.  Pour this syrup into a glass bottle or back into the same mason jar used. Put in the refrigerator. It will last for several months. Use it at the first sign of cough or sickness.

How to use: Adults 1 tsp 3 times a day. Children 12 and up 1/2 tsp 3 times a day.
